Thank you for this, so much of it expresses how I feel about this time of year. Beautiful!

"Maybe the spiritual work

is learning to honor

what doesn’t ask to be honored."

I really love your musings. In a world where headlines scream at us from every direction, a world of distraction from what is always right there, around us, the ordinary, the profane, this is a point of stillness. Noticing a nest that has served its function for the season, noticing the winter skeletons of trees, nothing "sexy" but still noteworthy and reflecting the now, the reality that doesn't mislead us into clickbaits.

I have so loved enjoying the trees in their naked beauty this Fall.

Thank you for this expounding on and. explaining. my feelings about Fall, dear Sushmita!

There is a lovely sense of peace and rest in feeling like we can just be with whatever we are with…my glass of kombucha this morning…and not needing to add a layer of finding the sacred in this moment. Even the “just being” can be just being…outside the need to make it something more, something deeper…no effort. Just a blanket, kombucha and for me, the sense of being surrounded by the silence only soft snow brings to the world outside! Thank you for the rest this morning!
